Getting to Corsica
Corsica is one beautiful city surrounded by France, Italy and the island Sardinia. It has a very old history and its somewhat mysterious and secret reputation makes Corsica a unique place.
Public transportation in Corsica has much scope for improvement with very few options among which, car rental probably is the best one for visitors. Its beauty is such that there always is a view or site that would want you to go further and further.
While traveling you should be cautious about the village and mountain roads as they are not up to the mark as yet. In Corsica there’s no centralized system of bus. That is why you would see many private companies who will provide various schedules. There you would also find vehicles which are known as "buses", in reality which are basically mini-vans. These vehicles travel alongside the major arteries and leave the interior.
Riding around Corsica in a scooter also is an option. Using it inside the city will get you around faster than the other vehicles. But the best would definitely be the Micheline or the Trinighellu, the little trains of Corsica. Although these sometimes follow a fearful yet beautiful route across the mountains which provides a great sight.
