Location of the Airport:
The Airport is located 5 miles from the city center and is well signposted on all the major routes. The airport is accessible from the South East of Ireland through the Lee Tunnel.Traveling to & from the Cork Airport:
- By Rail: Regular train service is provided to and from the Cork train station from the rest of Ireland, there is also an Eireann bus service from the train station to the airport. Intercity train service is also provided to and from Cork with a regular bus connection from its railway station to the Cork Airport.
- By Bus: Eireann bus service operates between the airport and the city center. Service is also provided from Dublin, Waterford, Tralee and Killarney to Cork.
Information Desk: Information desk is available in the airport terminal at the main arrivals including a tourist information desk, Tel: +353 21 4313131.
Cork Airport Facilities :
- Currency: A bureau de change and a bank is available in the terminal. A currency exchanger machine is available in the terminal for changing foreign currency to Euro. An ATM machine is also provided at the terminal.
- Refreshment: Refreshments from sandwiches to the Wild Geese Bar is available at the airport terminal in the first floor, which is large and spacious.
- Shopping: Cork airport shopping offers unbeatable value and choice, luxurious goods, confectionery, traveling accessories and liquor are provided by duty free shops.
Cork Airport Disabled Facilities :
Wheel chairs, portages, special parking has been provided by the airport for the disabled passengers, any assistance required by the disabled notice should be given to the airline in advance of their arrival at the Cork airport. Special facilities include telephones, toilets and lifts, which are fitted with Braille buttons.
