Tenerife in the western part which is the largest of all the three features the lowest temperature and occasionally includes rain but there is no specific rainy season. The highest peak in Spain standing at about 12,200 feet is the Mount Teide formed around a million years ago. Some of the other attractions in the city are the Botanical Gardens featuring an incredible collection of tropical and sub tropical trees and plants and Castle Museum Park exhibiting all about flora, fauna, agriculture, volcanoes, foods, ceramics and handicrafts.
Gran Canaria this island is divided into two dramatically different climatic areas-humid in the north central filled with green and beautiful valleys and the arid to the south with desert like landscapes having a nice place to take sun baths and swin in the huge beaches. Among the attractions in the town, the main attraction is the Las Palmas the Barrio de la Vegueta which is very the attractive quarter of the town with numerous manorial houses showing influences of latin America. The Canarian Museum exhibits the most complete exposition about the islands and original inhabitants. Among the beaches the Maspalomas is the most beautiful among the beaches in the island with fine white sand at a length of 6 kilometers and a width of about 1 kilometer. Food is delicious in the island, agriculture is one of the main industries with season fruit and vegetables in this country come from the island. Potatoes especially find their way into numereous dishes like soups and stews.
Lanzarote is the driest of the Canary Islands, the beautiful beaches in Arrecife the capital of the island was granted a blue flag by the European Union. The natural pond formed by sea water with harbours, small boats of inshore fisherman is a beautiful landscaped collaborated with Cesar Manrique. Some of the other beaches are the Las Cucharas sheltered beach of toasted sand and placid waters and it is one of the main tourist resorts of the island, Playa Grande with golden sand and beautiful promenade in Lanzarote, Playa de Matagorda one of the attractive beaches of Lanzarote and main tourist area and the Playa de las Coloradas a tranquil beach of gravel removed from developed areas lacking of public services.
