Arrival
Brighton train station is at a distance of about half a mile from the seafront. It is situated at the head of Queen’s road which descends to the Clock Tower and then becomes West Street.
Tucked in just from the seafront on the south side of the Old Steine is the Pool Valley bus station where buses arrive.
The tourist office is situated at 10 Bartholomew Square, behind the town hall on the southern side of the Lanes. The timings differ in various months: June-Sept Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10am-4pm

Most of the budget accommodation can be found to the east of the Palace Pier, clustered around the kemp Town district. Opposite to the west pier lie more elegant and expensive hotels around Regency square.
Brighton’s official campsite throughout the year is the Sheepcote Valley site, just north of Brighton Marina. It can be reached by taking Bus#1 or #1A to Wilson Avenue, or taking the Volks railway and walking up Arundel Road to Wilson Avenue.
