Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia. It is the only capital in the world that borders two other countries (Austria and Hungary). It stands as an important symbol of Slovak and Slavic history and it is one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. It was destroyed in 1809 by Napoleon, but has now been restored and includes a museum dedicated to its history.
Gerulata are the ruins of an ancient Roman military camp and are really worth a visit.
