Berlin the capital city of Germany and was home to the infamous Berlin Wall, which divided the country as East and West Germany. The city offers a wealth of culture, history and emotions to be explored. New Berlin is mixtures of innovate and sophisticated architecture, a city of contradictions.

Berlin Wall – since its defeat against the allied forces in the 2 nd World War the country was divided and a wall was erected separating the East from the West Germany. But now Germany is unified and the memory of divided city is becoming dimmer but fragments of the wall remain a testament to turbulent times of German history.

Berlin Brandenburg Gate – the gate was part of the wall, which was opened by the then Russian Communist Leader Mr. Gorbachev. On the night from 9 th to 10 th of November 1989 the Wall fell and the people from East and West Germany flocked the gate. A moment that is burned into the minds of the people of not only German but the world as well.

Pariser Platz – the most prominent city squares in Berlin was constructed in 1734 and was redesigned by the city garden director Hermann Machtig. The square characterizes the western end of the avenue known as Unter den Linden. Tourists visit the place throughout the year to see the colourful flowerbeds and lively water fountains.

Castles and Gardens of Potsdam and Berlin – the Potsdam and Berlin Havel landscape with many forests, lakes and rolling fields was the site as new residences, gardens and parks of the electors, kings and emperors of the Hohenzollern Dynasty for three hundred years.

Berlin Nikolaikirche (Nicoli Church Berlin) – the church marks the spot where the city Berlin was founded and faced destruction in the 2 nd World War. The reconstruction began in 1985, the Nicolai Quarter for the 750 th anniversary of the city. The historic church was reconstructed and converted into a museum in accordance with the provisions for historical monuments.
