The Euro Airport is the shared by the Basel, Malhouse(France), and Freigburg(Germany), and lies across the border. It is located 9km from the northwest of Basel. The DB station is across the Rhine and down Richenstrasse.
 

Basel has a very cheap and robust public transport. There is the facility for the advance booking of tickets. The tickets for the rail or bus can be finding in advance.  From the city centre, the most of the things of the historic importance radiates with heart of ancient city Rhine’s. The Basel can be best covered by foot. The other best way is to hire the bike from the kiosk.  The Mobility Ticket--Any tourist staying in Basel at paid accommodations is entitled to a "mobility ticket," which allows free use of Basel's public transport for the duration of your stay.
