Barcelona Airport
Barcelona has an international airport- the Barcelona Airport in El Prat de Llobregat town. It is Spain’s second biggest airport and numerous flights from Spain as well as from round the world come here everyday. It is also Mediterranean coasts’ largest airport. It is the major hub for ClickAir and Vueling Airlines as well as for Air Europa, Spanair, Iberia etc This airport is linked with the city through highway, scheduled bus services and commuter trains.

Barcelona port has great history behind it and is of immense commercial importance. But it also connects Barcelona with other parts of Spain.
Barcelona’s local transport
The city is very well served by comprehensive network of public transport that consists of one metro, two trams, bus network, and numerous cable cars and funiculars. TMB or "Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona" operates almost all of the network.
Barcelona is also a premiere hub for the state railway of Spain, RENFE, and the principle intercity station is Barcelona-Sants. The high speed AVE rail was lately extended from Tarragona to Madrid in the southern part of Catalonia, and will probably touch Barcelona by the end of the year 2007.
Thus, reaching Barcelona is not very hard for tourists as well for business people. It is pretty much the hub of all communication network of Spain.
