Barcelona Eating & Drinking
When it comes to the eating in Barcelona, Spain, probably the most famous of all is paella, in Catalan which means the frying pan. It can be appropriately called as arròs (rice) or albeit.
No true recipe is suitable for paella. In older days, paella used to be prepared with seafood and fish near the sea and with pork, rabbit or poultry in the main lands. In modern days, due to refrigerators people can get pleasure from frozen paella made with many sorts of ingredients from any season, though, frozen foods are no way near the real ones. Among them the one made from fish is standard in almost all restaurants.
If anyone wants to enjoy the real paella, might look for the gloomy restaurants, mainly for the locals, having set menus. They are excellent. Thursday is the most appropriate day to find the paella in such places, as it happens to be a traditional day for eating it.
There are also very delicious arròs negre (black rice), similar to paella, prepared with cuttlefish, and fideuà, (meaning noodle), a kind of fish made paella with slender noodles as a substitute to rice. It is a pleasure to eating lovers to enjoy these special foods especially when cooked in iron pan.
