Location
The airport is located 16 miles north of Bangkok city and ranks as one among the worlds top 30 airports. From the airport take the Viphawdee Rangsit Highway towards the toll-way road and the city center is a short drive from the toll-way.

Traveling to and from Bangkok Airport
By Train : the Don Muang train station is close to arrivals hall of terminal 1 and trains operate to central Bangkok station for traveling to different destinations in Thailand.
By Shuttle : the bus station is located on the platform outside the arrivals hall at terminal 1, 2 and 3 operating to different destinations.
By Bus : the buses operate to different routes in Bangkok, route A1 operates from airport to hotels, route A2 to various tourist destinations, route A3 to tourist destinations and hotels and route A4 to and from airport to railway station. The local bus station is situated in front of the airport and operates from here to bus no.29 operates to Bangkok railway station and bus no.59 to Emerald Buddha Temple and bus no.95 to Ram Khamhang Road.

Currency Exchanger & ATMs : both the financial facilities are with the bank and vending machines are available in the same arrivals and departure halls of terminal 1, 2 and 3. Banks are located on the ground floor of central block, on the second floor of terminal 2 and also on the second floor of terminal 1.
Food & Drinks : the terminals provide a range of international and Thai delicacies with the main concentration of outlets on the fourth floor of terminal 2. The American fast food outlets and English fried breakfast are located in the same area. The world famous Thai cuisine is available on fourth floor of terminal 1, 2 and other terminal complex. The Japanese restaurant is located on second floor of terminal 2.
Shopping : the airport has wide area dedicated for shopping with duty free shops, bookstalls, florist, electrical items, perfumes and many more endless shops in the third floor of departure hall and in terminal 2.
Lounges : airport lounges are located in the departure area of terminal 1 and 2 which are provided by airlines for passengers.
