Location
The airport is located 14 miles south of downtown Auckland that is connected by the southern motorway and few kilometers from the Gillies Avenue exit.
Terminal Information
The airport has three terminals and is inter-linked by complimentary shuttle buses. Two terminals handle domestic flights and one for international flights. The terminals are also walking distance apart.

The airport information desk call (Ph: +64 (0)9 275 0789) and visitor information desk is located on the ground floor of the arrivals hall in the international terminal, call (Ph: (0)9 275 6467). For flight information visit: www.auckland-airport.co.nz/flightinfo. Representatives wearing blue coat are available in the domestic and international terminal to assist passengers.
Traveling to and from Auckland Airport
By Bus : shuttle buses operate by Airbus serves passengers from the airport to downtown and shared ride buses also operate from the airport’s taxi stand. The airport to Pakuranga service is available call Rideline (Ph: (0)9 366 6400 or visit: www.rideline.co.nz) for information regarding bus, train or ferry service in and around Auckland.
Auckland Airport Facilities
Currency Exchanger & ATMs : ATMs are located in the domestic and international terminal’s ground and first floor. Exchangers and banks are located in the departure and arrivals hall of international terminal.
Food & Drinks : the airport has cafes; café down under, kiwi café, bar ; espresso bar, city of sails café and bar and restaurants ; jean batten food court. Also American fast food outlet Mc Donald is located in the terminals.
Shopping : the airport has some of the best shops located in the terminals and also online purchases is available (visit: www.aworldofshopping.co.nz). A total of 80 shops are located in the three terminals including a duty free shop is also available in the terminal.
Left / Lost Luggage : the left luggage office is located on the ground floor of the international terminal and also at the collection point. The lost luggage office is managed by the airport police (Ph: (0)9 275 9046).
Other Facilities : medical center is located outside the international terminal.
Children playroom and baby change rooms are available in the terminals.
Mobile phone hire is available in the airport terminal.
Internet kiosks and access points are located throughout the terminals.
Auckland Airport Facilities for Disabled
The airport terminals provide easy access to passenger with lifts, ramps, automatic doors and wheelchair push. Also specially designed toilets, telephones, showers and ATMs are provided throughout the terminals. Designated parking is available for short period in front of the terminals and long term at the car parks. Passengers require wheelchair, assistance with wheelchair or any special help should inform the airlines in advance.
