Atlanta located in the northern half of Georgia known as the Piedmont its landscape is one of the undulating hills wedged between rugged mountains and a flat coastal plain. It is an enormous and sprawling city and it is constantly expanding with no major barriers to prevent it from continuing to grow indefinitely.
