The airport is located 10 miles from Atlanta city with the I-85 and I-285 providing direct access to and from airport.

Customer service representative are throughout the airport terminals providing assistance and information to passengers. The public transportation center is located near the baggage reclaim area providing information on buses, trains and shuttle services.

The airport has two passenger terminals with six public concourses and the terminals are connected to the concourses by underground transportation mall. The terminal is also connected by travelator for passengers to move around the airport.
Traveling to and from Hartsfield Atlanta Airport
By Train : the train station is close to the terminal and Rapid Train service operates to downtown Atlanta for access to other destinations around Atlanta city.
By Bus : the bus station is located in the lower level of the north terminal and service is provided by Greyhound flightlink buses. The buses operate from airport to some cities and states close to Atlanta city.

Atlanta Airport Facilities for Disabled
The airport has complete specially designed telephones, lifts, ramps and toilets for disabled passengers. Wheelchairs are available and for any special requirements the airlines should be informed when booking the tickets. Designated parking is available at all car parks and are located close to the main terminal.
