The double decker church is another attraction in Assisi built to honour the humble saint who lies in the crypt. The upper one has been damaged severely by the earthquake but still can be admired for its colourful frescoes. The small little museum is another attraction in Assisi that can be explored. Other famous places to visit are the Basilica of St. Francis, Piazza del Comune, The Duomo, Rocca Maggiore, The Basilica of Santa Chiara and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
