Museumplein, or Museum Square, is bordered by the Stedeljik Museum, The House of Bols Cocktail & Genever Experience, and the Van Goh Museum. Furthermore, at the square is Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, the Dutch national museum that features exhibits of art, craft, and history. There are a few nearby cities of importance, as well. Haarlem, Waterland, Zaanse Schans, and Enkhuizen are all very lovely and are only a short trip from the main city. There is also a handful of further outlying locales, which would require a car to reach. Den Haag is the political centre for the nation. Delft is popular for signature blue and white ceramics, and the springtime bloom of flowers at Keukenhof is also a draw for tourists.
