Fiestas
During the Les Fogueres de Sant Joan fiesta, on June the 24th, many wooden giant effigies, beautifully painted and sculptured, taking the mocking looks of some major issues of that day, are burnt, making the city look like a giant bonfire, along with a stunning firework display. The celebration continues till June 29th, extending beyond another festival, the San Pedro Feast, with colorful parades, and additional fireworks.
