 DUBLIN AIRPORT INFORMATION (DUB)

Location of the Airport: Dublin airport is located 6 miles north of Dublin from the city center onto the M1 northbound. The airport is conveniently situated near the M50 and M1 motorways to enable airport users to undertake their journey to or from the north, south and west of Ireland with ease. This International Airport is Ireland’s largest and most sucessful airport with hundreds of flights departing and arriving to and from Ireland.

Traveling to and from the Airport:
  • Bus: Local bus service is frequently available operated by Dublin Bus which leave from the main arrivals road directly outside the terminal building to the city center and other destinations in the city. Coach service is also available from the airport’s coach park on the far side of the main car park building to many destinations in Ireland.
  • Taxi: Taxi’s are readily available from outside the terminal building serving to the city center and other destinations in the city.

Information Desk: The airport information desk and the Dublin tourism information are located on the arrivals concourse of the terminal building at the airport.

Airport Facilities:
  • Currency and Communication: Bureau de change is located in a number of convenient locations throughout the terminal building, ATMs are provided on both the arrivals and the departures levels and also in the atrium of the multi storey car park. There is also a foreign currency dispenser on the departures level of the terminal building.
  • Refreshments: The airport offers a wide variety of Restaurants and bars throughout the terminal and boarding areas. There is a café and the renowned Bewley’s Café has a presence in the terminal and there are sandwiches outlets at the airport.
  • Shopping: Shopping include Irish Waterford glass products and other handicrafts shops, clothes, Butler’s chocolates outlet and travel accessories stores are also available at the terminal.
  • Left and Lost Luggage Facility: Left luggage facility is located in the atrium of the multi storey car park providing short and long term storage of luggage. There is no lost luggage facility at the terminal.
  • Other Facility: Other facility includes a dispensing pharmacy and a hairdresser located on the departures level of the terminal building. A free nursery is also available at the terminal building. There is a church located within the Dublin Airport Complex just one minute walk from the arrivals door.
Disabled Facility: Dublin Airport is a customer service oriented organisation and is commited to providing facilities for passenger with disablities using the airport. These include adapted toilets, lifts, induction loops to facilitate amplification of announcements for passengers with hearing difficulties, a wheel chair facility which is available at the information desk at the arrivals hall, and adapted telephone facility is provided at the terminal for the disabled passengers. Disabled car parking facility is also available on the ground level of the multi-storey car park for both long and short term stays.
