BELFAST AIRPORT GUIDE

Location of the Airport: Located 18 miles northwest of Belfast along the M2 motorway the airport is situated off the A57, 11 km from junction 5.

Traveling to and from the Airport:
  • Rail: A bus is provided to link the nearest railway station which is 6 miles from the airport and the bus link is called the Antrim Airlink. It bus operates in fromt of the terminal building from Monday to Friday only.
  • Bus: Bus operates from the airport terminal to the city center departing from the front of the terminal building. There is a coach serving by the Airporter to Derry and Londonderry, tel: (0) 28 7126 9996.
  • Taxi: Taxi’s are provided by the International Airport Taxis Company operating from outside the terminal building to the city center and other destinations in the city, tel: (0) 28 9448 4353.
Information Desk: Located in the arrivals hall providing information on flights, general enquiries and public transport. They also provide tourist informtion.

Airport Facilities:
  • Currency and Communication: ATMs and bureau de change is available throughout the terminal building including postal facilities and internet kiosks and telephones.
  • Refreshments: Variety of food outlets are provided in the food court including a café and a bar in the main departures lounge at the airport.
  • Shopping: Shopping at the airport includes newsagents, duty free and tax free electronics store. Other shop at the airport are the gift shops selling Irish gifts.
  • Other Facility: There is a children play area, baby change room and a quite room at the airport terminal.
Disabled Facility: Disabled toilets, telephones, ramps access and lifts are provided for the disabled at the terminal building. Wheel chair accessibiliy is also available and it should be booked in advance while booking their tickets. Disabled car park facililty is also available at the terminal and porters are on hand to assist with baggage.
